Kenyan Prosecutor’s Office this Wednesday he accused Paul MacKenzie and other cult leaders who allegedly convinced 430 people to fast until death in order to meet Jesus Christ againbelonging murder of 191 children whose bodies were found buried in a forest in the south of the country last year.
Those charged include McKenzie and others. 29 of his alleged associates (assistants)who denied their charges in the High Court in the coastal town of Malindi, and also missing another accused who was considered mentally unfit to answer the charges, Kenyan radio station Capital FM reported.

McKenzie is the alleged person responsible for what is known as “Shakakhol Massacre”referring to the name of the forest in the coastal county of Kilifi where authorities discovered mass graves and tombs most of the neighbor 430 corpses his followers, many of whom are children.
The defendants were charged in mid-January on charges of terrorism and murder for his role in the massacre, which is considered “the worst security breach in the country’s history” by the authorities.

For several months after these facts became known, the authorities carried out excavations and exhumation in large areas of the forest, where the bodies of 430 victims have been found to date, the figure is not yet final, since more victims could have been found.
