Apple today began shipping updated versions of the 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 chip, and the machines are available at a discount for the first time since their launch date in October 2023. Prices for refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro models start at $1,359, a $240 discount from the original price of $1,599.
Currently, Apple appears to only offer MacBook Pro models with the standard M3 chip, but there are no M3 Pro or M3 Max machines available for purchase. Apple lists various configurations with additional storage.
Some of the entry-level models are already sold out, and availability will fluctuate as Apple restocks the updated store. Customers looking for a specific configuration should check more frequently.
All of Apple’s refreshed Macs are nearly identical to the new products. They are subject to a restoration process that includes thorough cleaning and inspection, as well as full functional testing with replacement of faulty modules. Refurbished products are eligible for AppleCare+ and have the same 14-day return period as new Apple devices.
