According to additional information provided by Disney, “the new collaboration will offer consumers many opportunities to play, watch, shop and interact with characters and stories from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Avatar and more.
“Players, gamers and fans will be able to create their own stories and experiences, express their love and share content with each other the way they want,” the company said.
The deal itself is still subject to regulatory approval.
The cartoon character Mickey Mouse has been in the public domain in the United States since January 1, 2024 – the copyright protection of the cartoon “Steamboat Willipro” of the Disney film company, in which this character first appeared, expired, Ukrinform reports.
