Google’s intention is that this Gemini application will play a fundamental role in the future. Gemini wants Google Assistant
Google explains it this way: “This is the first step in creating a true AI assistant that is conversational, multimodal, and useful.” So Gemini The evolution of Google Assistant.
It can be accessed directly from the icon after downloading the Gemini app, which is not currently available in Spain, out loud with “Hey, Google” or through a special button on the mobile phone, if available.

Most of the Google Assistant functions are available on Gemini, such as creating alarms, making calls, or controlling devices. But Gemini can too respond to what is shown on the screenfor example, information about what is viewed in the browser or a photo we have edited.
On iOS the process will be different. Gemini will be available through the Google app instead of its own app.
Gemini’s arrival on Android and iOS will be gradual. As of today, it can be downloaded from the Play Store in the United States and English. It will be possible to test it on iOS from the coming weeks. It will also be available in Japanese and Korean starting next week.
Currently, Gemini for mobile phones is neither available in Spanish nor in Europe, but Google assures that it is working on it and will arrive “soon.”
