Time & Radar celebrates its anniversaryhas switched to cars with Android Auto support for a year now. In fact, this was the first weather app for Android Auto to show us weather forecasts on a map, compared to previous attempts like Weatherology.

There are still a small number of weather apps for Android Auto, but some are better than others. Weather and Radar was the first, and so it is no surprise that it is also the most complete. The anniversary update makes this even better because it’s finally Matches perfectly with Coolwalk and offers new features.

The main change of the Weather and Radar update is now Coolwalk supports split screenso it can be viewed full screen or the spotlight can be shared with a second app like Google Maps.

But this is not the only change. The app now includes interactive radars that let you explore the weather around you by moving the map to other locations and additional layers added: One for temperature and the other for wind.

Another innovation is weather alerts while drivingWhile the app is running in the background, it will notify us of adverse conditions such as heavy rain, severe storms and more in real time.

Additionally, the app includes new customization options, including the ability to: select default layer More options to adjust the scale of the map and size of texts you want to be shown when you open the app. The Android Automotive version can also adjust the unit based on temperature and time.
