Additionally, the company recently launched its AI Premium plan ($19.99 per month), which offers powerful tools built on top of Google’s Gemini AI model.
These features offer advanced features like creating drafts in Gmail, editing content in Slides, and providing data visualizations in Sheets. Subscribers of plans with 5TB or more of storage are currently eligible to try AI Premium features for free for a limited time until July 31, 2024.
Google intends to make AI Premium available to other subscriber groups, including Google Fi Unlimited users and those who pay for Google One through third-party billing providers.
Pichai emphasizes that adding these AI features is key to the service’s continued growth. Interestingly, this Google One subscription milestone coincides with YouTube Music + Premium also reaching 100 million users.
