Experts have stated that some computer security systems may be disabled after installing the previous KB5014019 update. According to journalists, this is Trend Micro’s security software that is not compatible with the current update.
The material says the issue is with the User Mode Hooking (UMH) component used in some Trend Micro programs. The company confirmed the problem and said that updating Windows 11 could damage protection, including viruses and fake software.
Since the KB5014019 update is previous, it does not need to be installed. Users who have already installed the update are recommended to open Windows Update and manually uninstall the update. According to experts, the problem is with both current versions of Windows 11 and computers running Windows 10 version 1809 and Windows Server 2022. Trend Micro representatives said that they have started work to solve this problem.
