The Logitech Zone Wireless 2 is a premium business headset with numerous features and a stylish appearance. You have to accept the high price.
The Logitech Zone Wireless 2 (359.99 euros including VAT) is the newcomer to Logitech’s business headset series. The functionalities of this headset cannot be counted on two hands, which is immediately reflected in the price. Logitech uses a number of benefits such as AI, four noise-cancelling microphones and hybrid ANC to make this premium model justice. The editorial team tested this Logitech headset and saw whether this premium device lives up to its price.
The Logitech Zone Wireless 2 comes with a case that doesn’t fit the premium nature of the headset. It’s a simple, not so luxurious, sleeve which offers little protection. Luckily, the handy interior storage pocket for the USB port wasn’t too much of a problem. The Zone Wireless 2 is equipped with a receiver with a USB-C port and an adapter to USB-A, ideal if your laptop has not yet kept up with the times. You will also find a charging cable in the box.
Logitech didn’t skimp on the workmanship and design. The Zone Wireless 2 has a luxurious look and is available in gray. The headband and ear cushions feel soft and can be extended up to four centimeters. You will also find a few buttons on the headset to answer a call, turn off the headset and connect it via Bluetooth. Noise cancellation activate or the mute button activate. The latter can also be done by simply lifting the microphone, which can also be done from both sides.
The Logitech Zone Wireless 2 also scores points when it comes to sustainability. The plastic parts of the headset are made from 20 percent recycled plastic and the aluminum parts are low-carbon. In addition, parts such as the ear pads and the battery are replaceable, so your headset lasts longer.
The Logitech Zone Wireless 2 uses artificial intelligence to filter out the ambient noise of you and the person you are talking to. This is possible in the Logi Tune app Advanced call clarity on or off to distinguish your conversation partner’s voice from the background noise.
Logitech calls it active noise cancellation of the Zone Wireless 2 “Hybrid ANC”. This is due to the different options for noise reduction ANC high, ANC low, no ANC or transparency. The noise reduction largely serves its purpose, even if there is some noise here and there. That’s probably why at the ear Headset design that sometimes lets in ambient noise.
You can use the following audio clips to assess the quality of the microphone and compare it with other Logitech models.

You can fully customize the Logitech Zone Wireless 2 to suit your needs and current situation via the Logi Tune app. Noise reduction allows you to adjust a number of functions to your liking. It’s great to experiment with and achieve the ultimate sound quality that suits you. Additionally, you can also choose how your headset is configured, such as: B. per mute automatically turn on when the microphone is folded, or which noise cancellation mode switches to when pressing the ANC button.
The headset connects quickly and easily to your computer or Teams, the latter of which recently made it easier to control your audio. In addition, the Logitech Wireless 2 is compatible with most platforms, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet.
Long meetings are no problem for the Logitech Zone Wireless 2. According to Logitech, the battery lasts up to 40 hours, which is not entirely true in practice. When actively using the headset in combination with ANC, it drains the battery a little faster, but still not fast enough to get through the day. The headset can be used as a wired headset while charging and takes approximately two hours to fully charge. Optionally, a charging station can be purchased, which can be useful for your (home) office.
Compared to other business headsets from Logitech, the Zone Wireless 2 stands out in terms of features (and price). If you like extra gadgets, the Logitech Zone Wireless 2 is the right choice. The hybrid ANC offers a comfortable calling experience, which can potentially be improved by integrating earcups into the design to further block out outside noise.
