Oracle has added new capabilities to Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) to improve the efficiency of supply chains worldwide.
Oracle is introducing new capabilities within Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) to help companies increase the efficiency of their global supply chains. The updates within Oracle Transportation Management and Oracle Global Trade Management, both components of Oracle Cloud SCM, enable customers to optimize their logistics processes. This is achieved by improving transparency, reducing costs, automating regulatory compliance and improving decision making.
Given the complex challenges businesses face, such as parts shortages, disrupted transportation routes and rapidly changing customer needs, these new capabilities provide a solution. They enable logistics professionals to work more flexibly and efficiently, helping them comply with regulations more easily, minimizing bottlenecks and limiting the impact of transport disruptions.
The update includes expanded business intelligence capabilities for better decision-making, improved logistics network modeling to optimize fleet performance, a new trade facilitation program to increase efficiency, an updated Oracle Transportation Management mobile app for a better user experience, and improved workbenches for more efficient workflow.
These developments are designed to not only improve operational efficiency, but also help companies respond quickly to changes in demand, supply and market conditions, creating a resilient supply network.
