In recent months, when talking about Apple, the conversation usually quickly turns to the Apple Vision Prochanges to iOS in the European Union and AI-related advancements that we will see with the arrival of iOS 18. In fact, with this newly released 2024, I wanted to predict what we expected from Cupertino this year and how I will see that the list matches quite well (although I focused more on advancements in terms of supporting games on their devices).

We are in the middle of February and time is proving us right because these are the main goals, but we must not forget that Apple’s business activity does not depend exclusively on these large movements and devices that are in the news week after week. Quite the contrary, both the revenue and the image of a technology company are built and maintained through a broad ecosystem of devices and services, which must also undergo regular review to stay current.

So we leave the big stars of Apple in 2024 aside for now to focus on what they already have in store in Cupertino and what we will soon see debut on the market, based on the previews published by Mark Gurman, a well-known and renowned analyst and leaker specializing in on Apple, as well as on the history and current catalog of the company. AND This set tells us about the new iPads, MacBooks and iPhones.

Apple will soon refresh the iPad and MacBook Air families

If we start with laptops, we see that Apple has already updated the MacBook Pro with the M3 chip, a change that could happen as early as next month and at the same time for both MacBook Air models (13 and 15 inches). Currently, it is possible to choose between configurations with M1 (13.3 inches) and M2 (13.6 and 15.3 inches), so the question is whether with the debut of the MacBook Air with the M3 the company will phase out all currently available models or whether, on the contrary will keep anyone equipped with his M2 chip.

As for the iPad, currently the Air family is based on the M1, while the Pro models use an integrated M2, and it is expected that soon both families will make the jump to the successor chip to the one they are currently usingThat means an iPad Pro with an M3 chip will soon be introduced, and both the refresh of the 10.9-inch iPad Air and the arrival of a new, larger 12.9-inch model, both compatible with MagSafe wireless charging, are also expected.

Finally, while reviewing the iPhone history of recent years, we also expect a catalog update soon new color available, something that, based on precedent, occurs between March and April. There’s no reliable rumor or leak regarding the color chosen for the range extension, so we’ll have to wait and see for now.
