After South Korean newspaper Korea Economic Daily reported last week that Oppo would stop developing foldable smartphones, a flood of speculation surrounding the brand followed. ITdaily heard the rumor last week, but unlike other media outlets, editors decided not to write about it yet due to the source’s questionable reputation.
Curiously, it took Oppo five days to do this, but has now officially confirmed that they will not stop developing foldable smartphones.
