Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University launched the BGV Hardware Accelerator accelerator program to support technology startups. Each of the project participants will be given 3,000 Euros to bring their ideas to life.

This is stated in the press release of the university, which is in the possession of Ukrinform.

“The purpose of the accelerator is to find and attract talented engineers, as well as to create modern innovative products for the development of technological enterprises in Ukraine in the following areas: automated production, robotics and the Internet of Things, automotive industry, technologies in medical messaging, drones, eco-technologies, energy, etc.” he is writing.

Ukrainian startup fund Ukrainian Startup Fund and Techosystem association acted as partners of the program.

The accelerator program consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part includes nine training modules from international experts and founders of Ukraine’s leading technology startups. The practical part will allow teams to create an MVP based on the laboratories of the university’s innovation center.

Each participating team will receive up to 3,000 euros for the support and development of their accelerator ideas, i.e. for the purchase of additional materials necessary in the process of creating the mechanism.

Applications from teams are accepted until February 29. Based on the results of the submitted applications, 10 teams will be selected for further participation in the accelerator.

As reported, the Veterans Development Center, the fifth in the country, was opened at Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University.
