“The Ministry of Defense is creating an application for the military. I often hear complaints from soldiers about excessive paperwork; filling out paper diaries, endless reports. Our decision is to digitalize everything as much as possible,” said Minister of Defense Rustem Umyerov.

As mentioned, the Army+ application will include the following documents and services: electronic identity of the defender, facilitating access to e-services and combat systems; a complex knowledge base that is a reliable source of information regarding service completion; feedback forms – so that the state can quickly respond to challenges based on real data; online training courses for personal development.

In contrast, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko noted that the military spends a lot of time every day on submitting reports and other paperwork.

“Thanks to the application, reports will become automatic and useful. We are creating a system that everyone can hear. Our vision is an army ready for war thanks to mutual trust and innovation.” emphasized Chernogorenko.

The press service noted that Army+ was developed by the Ministry of Defense together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The application is expected to be available in the summer.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine will be able to place its IT systems in the “clouds” of NATO member states, and the registration of conscripts will be located only on the territory of Ukraine.
