Despite the popularity of drying phones with rice, experts have long warned against this method as tests have shown it doesn’t work.
The tech giant has published guidance stating that such drying can cause tiny particles in rice grains to damage its devices.
The company said you should instead pour the liquid out of the phone’s connector by carefully tilting it downwards, then let it dry.
Additionally, Apple recommends not drying a wet phone using “an external heat source or compressed air,” i.e. a radiator and hair dryer. Also, do not try to insert “foreign objects such as cotton swabs or paper towels” into the phone.
Instead, you should leave the phone in a “dry place with access to air” and not charge it until it is completely dry.
According to Ukrinform, Apple company It said it doubles the battery life promised on the iPhone 15 without any software or hardware changes.
