The Swedish company Candela, specializing in the production of electric hydrofoils, has introduced a new electric device called the Candela P-8 Voyager. The P-8 Voyager is a small hydrofoil based on the same platform as the C-8. But the difference in this case is that the novelty has a power plant.

The ship is capable of developing a cruising speed of 20 knots at a maximum of 30 knots. It can accommodate six passengers in addition to the crew. The length of the ship reaches 8.5 meters. The range is claimed to be up to 93 km, which according to the manufacturer is much more than most other electric boats. By the way, this range is promised at a speed of 22 knots, meaning it should be a little more when cruising.

The company pays special attention to its revolutionary engines, low noise, reliability and other features, but these are all inherent in the C-8 model, on which the innovation is based. The cost of the P-8 Voyager starts at 450,000 euros. Source
