Google announced Thursday that its Gemini image-generating artificial intelligence tool has been temporarily suspended after it was found to have created “inaccuracies” in historical photos.
This was reported by CNBC, according to a report from Ukrinform.
Users on social media complained that the artificial intelligence tool displayed historical figures such as the US founding fathers as people with different skin colors; This is also wrong.
Google issued a statement saying it was suspending the Gemini feature for rendering people images and would re-release an “improved” version soon.
As reported by Ukrinform, in December the company Alphabet introduced Gemini AI, which can process video, audio and text files.
Google then announced a major rebranding of its chatbot and AI assistant Bard, now called Gemini.
