The Falcon 9 launch vehicle, with 22 satellites on it, was launched from the spaceport in the US state of California at 06:11 Kiev time.
Deployment of the satellites into low Earth orbit is expected to occur approximately 62 minutes after launch.
The first stage of the Falcon 9 is said to return to Earth approximately 8.5 minutes after liftoff to land on the “Of Course I Still Love You” drone in the Pacific Ocean.
The Starlink megaconstellation currently consists of more than 5,400 spacecraft, but their numbers are constantly increasing.
Today’s launch was already the 17th launch in 2024 for SpaceX.
