A major hacker attack on websites in the Russian Federation was recorded on February 25, 2024. As a result of the work of the “UA25” group of hackers, 5 terabytes of personal and corporate confidential information were downloaded.

According to Ukrinform, StratCom of the Ukrainian Armed Forces provided information on this issue on Telegram.

“A cyber group calling itself ‘UA25’ gained access to enemy country logistics materials, confidential lawyer materials, and some marketplaces. More than 5 TB of personal and corporate confidential information has been downloaded so far. It has also been reported that they managed to infiltrate the internal servers of the attacker country.” ” said StratCom.

The post states that “the threat in the cyberspace of the Russian Federation has now gained new momentum, reaching even larger scales throughout the country, which serves to gain access to the terrorist government’s servers.”

As previously reported, the Russians experienced a large-scale failure of their drone control program as a result of a cyber attack carried out by experts of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
