- It will be remembered that not so long ago GUR launched an attack on the server of private communications of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Closed communication between the enemy’s military units, especially the Ministry of Defense units, was terminated. Hackers managed to obtain certain documents, but no details were provided.
- In January, Ukrainian hackers from the Blackjack group stole technical documents of 500 objects belonging to the Russian Ministry of Defense. By attacking a Russian state-owned enterprise that was building military facilities across the country, they obtained a set of data weighing 1.2 terabytes.
- And in February, hackers of the Ukrainian IT army carried out two major attacks. St. SkyNet, one of St. Petersburg’s largest Internet providers, was the first to be “deployed”. For several days, neither civilian, corporate nor government provided internet to its consumers. The latter blocked the delivery of Russia’s largest retailer “Magnit”. The system collected money from customers but no delivery was made.
