HMD Global announced at the beginning of February that it wanted to release smartphones under its own flag in addition to Nokia cell phones. At the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ​​the manufacturer will not present new phones, but a new name. HMD now stands for “Human Mobile Devices”.

The new name comes with a renewed focus on producing affordable, beautiful and repairable devices. According to HMD, we can expect a device this summer where the number of steps to replace a screen is significantly fewer than traditional brands today.
