According to Ukrinform, the company’s CEO, George Zhao, told CNBC about this issue at the Mobile World Congress 2024 fair held in Barcelona, Spain, on Tuesday.
“We have such a decision internally. We are currently working on this part, so you will be able to buy a ring from Honor in the future,” he said.
Zhao added that Honor has developed its own smart ring.
Zhao is said to have revealed few details about the upcoming product, but said the ring is part of the company’s “broader focus on health.”
The company has already expanded its work on other devices, especially smart wrist watches that can also measure some health indicators.
Zhao believes that artificial intelligence is the key to providing users with more information about their health.
As Ukrinform reported, on Monday, South Korean company Samsung Electronics showed off its Galaxy Ring health engagement ring for the first time at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 expo in Barcelona, Spain.
