Samsung is preparing to release several new ultra-rugged devices. This is a mid-range smartphone from the Galaxy XCover line and a tablet from the Galaxy Tab Active family. The network already has some details about these devices.

Rumors about a new secure Samsung smartphone appeared back in March, when OnLeaks insider published its renderings. It has now been flagged in the Google Play Developer Console (image above). Interestingly, some sources claim that it will be called the Galaxy XCover Pro 2, while others are sure of the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro.

It is known for certain that the device will receive a 6-nanometer Snapdragon 778 processor. Google Play also notes that the pixel density of its screen is 450 ppi, which corresponds to a diagonal of about 5.85 inches at a resolution of 2408×1080 pixels. For comparison, OnLeaks reported a diagonal of 6.56 inches, so there is no final certainty here. But we can definitely say that the smartphone has a drop-shaped cutout in the screen.

Another novelty with increased survivability will be the Galaxy Tab Active Pro 2 tablet computer. Its existence was confirmed by the authoritative German insider Roland Quandt. True, there is no information on the device itself. It’s only supposed to have a 10.1-inch screen like the original Galaxy Tab Active Pro.

The prices and timing of the presentation of gadgets have not yet been reported.
