The Ministry of Digital Affairs is preparing to launch an artificial intelligence assistant to chat with customers on the Diya app.

Deputy Prime Minister for the Development of Innovations, Education, Science and Technologies – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reported.

“One of the ideas we are working on is an artificial intelligence-based assistant that will help the call center respond to calls. The assistant’s name will be Nadia. It will be a new generation chatbot that will communicate in human language and help solve a simple problem,” the message states.

According to Fedorov, the ministry is using a technological solution from one of the leading international companies to create an artificial intelligence assistant. The main advantages of the chatbot will be its responsiveness and saving time and resources of the “Actions” support team.

“I am now 80% satisfied with the quality of the AI ​​assistant’s responses, it will get better. Also, the speed of response is not very satisfactory. We are also working on it. This will be a revolutionary technology not only for Ukraine, but also for all governments of the world.” he added.

As reported, the Ministry of Digital Transformation has started the modernization of the Diya portal; By the end of the year, they plan to fully adapt it to digital accessibility needs, including for visually and hearing impaired people.
