Microsoft bet very heavily on Copilot, which we can now think of as an ecosystem of AI-based features and services that is gradually but steadily making its way to most of the company’s products and services. As you may remember, the first step in this direction was taken more than a year ago with the introduction of the Bing chatbot and the integration of AI into Microsoft Edge, although it was in September that the common denominator of Copilot was officially launched. put all these suggestions together.

So what started as a chatbot and a small selection of features for a web browser, Today it has a much wider scope., although it is also true that its extent varies from place to place. For example, integration in Windows 11 is not yet available in Spain, although due to Microsoft’s interest in expanding the use of Copilot to the maximum, it can be assumed that its reach in this regard will grow as quickly as possible. And what do I mean by said interest? Well, as demonstrated by the company itself, which initially reserved the version of the assistant integrated into the operating system for Windows 11, but finally decided to bring it to Windows 10 as well.

So we are at the point where we know Microsoft is bringing Copilot to all corners of its ecosystemand in each case (logically) adapting their functions to the context. It’s one thing to be clear on this point, and another thing to know what it means in a specific application, that is, to know exactly what we can expect from Copilot in the operating system, in the browser, in Microsoft Word. , in its web version… the list is no doubt extensive.

Fortunately, Microsoft is aware of this and subsequently created it Copilot Lab, a website where we can consult all the uses of AI in its software and services. In addition, on the same page, we also find a lot of useful general information about Microsoft’s AI-based design, tricks to get the most out of it, and other useful information. Of course, and as the name may suggest, we won’t find any experimental features here to test them.

The most interesting thing about Copilot Lab is without a doubt section “Copilot in your everyday applications”., in which we find a list of all the software and services in which AI has already been integrated, with links that take us to specific pages for each of them. Of course, and that’s why I mentioned it earlier, keep in mind that there are some features that are not yet available in Spain, as well as some included only in Copilot Pro, the paid modality.
