This was announced on Telegram by Deputy Prime Minister for the Development of Innovations, Education, Science and Technologies and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Ukrinform reports.
“The Defense Technology Cluster has funded 173 grants totaling $3,045,000 for developers creating defense innovations. These technologies strengthen the military, protect lives and give Defense Forces an advantage on the battlefield.” expressions are included.
According to Fedorov, the most funds were given to developers of ground robotic platforms and drones – 54 and 30 projects received funds, respectively.
In the budget for 2024, 1.5 billion hryvnia is allocated for Brave1 grants, and the grant amount will be increased to 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200 thousand dollars.
As reported, the Brave1 cluster was launched in April 2023. During this period, more than 1,200 applications were received to participate in the project from teams making innovative developments in the military technology sector.
