As part of the MWC 2024 exhibition, Honor introduced many new products, including global versions of the Magic6 Pro and Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design smartphones, as well as the efficient MagicBook Pro 16 laptop. The exhibition featured the Pad 9 tablet computer, known as Tablet 9 in the Chinese market.
Honor Pad 9 features a 12.1-inch wide IPS display that supports 2560 × 1600 pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and 500 cd/m² peak brightness. There is an 8 megapixel selfie camera on the front surface of the case. A 13 MP main camera is placed on the back of the case.
The tablet is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 microprocessor (four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.2 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 1.8 GHz). Adreno 710 accelerator is responsible for graphics processing.
The configuration is completed with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The power source is a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 8300 mAh, which supports fast charging with conductive power up to 35 W.
The novelty has dimensions of 278.2×180.1×6.9 mm and weighs 555 g. You can use the Bluetooth keyboard to interact with the tablet, but you will have to purchase it separately. Developers estimate the price of Honor Pad 9 at € 300, and for a set with a keyboard you will have to pay € 350.
