SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft was sent to the International Space Station (ISS) with an international team.

This was reported on NASA’s website, Ukrinform reports.

The Falcon 9 launch vehicle launched from Launch Complex 39A of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday morning Kiev time.

Approximately 12 minutes after launch, Crew Dragon separated from the launch vehicle’s second stage and began its flight to the ISS.

By this time the ship had already reached orbit.

Docking with the ISS is expected to occur on March 5.

The crew of the Crew-8 mission included NASA astronauts Matthew Dominik, Michael Barratt and Janet Epps, as well as Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebenkin. They will spend approximately six months on the station, conducting new scientific research to prepare for humanity’s exit from low Earth orbit.

As Ukrinform reported, SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft returned to Earth from the ISS on Friday, February 9, with its four crew members and landed in the Atlantic Ocean.
