Microsoft wants to get everyone on board with its copilot. This generative AI is based on the same technology as ChatGPT and is now integrated into Microsoft’s services. To learn what Copilot can do and how to get the most out of it, Microsoft is now launching the Copilot Lab.
The Lab is a website that serves as a digital classroom. First, you will find some videos that will introduce you to the basic functionality of Copilot (and the lab). Microsoft then shows what Copilot is all about. Redmond’s goal is not to teach you how generative AI works in general, but rather how Copilot works with Microsoft services and how you can get the most out of it.
The heart of Copilot Lab is the prompts. Microsoft explains in detail how to ask Copilot a good question and provides you with plenty of example questions to use as inspiration. The lab is also integrated with Copilot in Microsoft 365 services. For example, in Copilot in Word you can find prompt suggestions via a button.
The lab and videos are currently in English. Copilot itself is now available in Dutch. Microsoft announced this last week.
