Anthropic, an artificial intelligence startup that received investments from Google and Amazon, introduced a new version of its chatbot Claude 3 on Monday.
As reported by Ukrinform, Reuters.
Anthropic said Claude 3 Opus, the most powerful chatbot in the series, outperformed rivals OpenAI’s ChatGPT 4 and Google’s Gemini 1.0 Ultra.
He added that the new chatbot will be the first “multimodal” AI suite, meaning it can perform tasks such as answering text queries and analyzing images or graphics. At the same time, Claude 3 will not be able to create new images, only the function of analyzing them will be available to users.
According to Anthropic director Daniela Amodei, the new chatbot will be suitable for users who need to perform the “most cognitively complex tasks”, such as accurately performing complex financial analysis.
For every million pieces of data that the Claude 3 Opus chatbot publishes, users must pay $15. You can download the chatbot from Anthropic on Amazon and Google cloud platforms. The startup plans to sell access to Claude 3 directly in 159 countries.
In late October, it was reported that Google had agreed to invest nearly $2 billion in Anthropic, an artificial intelligence startup founded by former OpenAI executives.
