Lexar has expanded its storage offering with three new portable solid state drives, the Lexar SL500, a variant of the SL500 with magnetic support, and the ARMOR SL700, designed to increase its degree of durability and therefore outdoor operation.

The company cites compatibility with Apple Log video recording in 4K 60FPS ProRes format, which is available on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, as an example. The manufacturer adds the option of 256-bit AES encryption with DataShield software.
It is a variant of the previous one that includes various accessories such as a magnetic ring, a lanyard and a data cable to make it easier to carry. It is compatible with a wide range of devices and thanks magnetic ring included in the packageit can be attached effortlessly to any other compatible mobile, such as the iPhone 15. Otherwise, it is the same as the previous one in terms of performance and connection ports.
It is an external and portable unit that is designed for use outdoors and/or in extreme environments due to its durability. It has Degree of protection IP66 protects it from water and dust, extreme temperatures and falls from a height of up to 3 meters.
