“Tonight at 01:35, domain name registrar Network Solutions suddenly and without warning blocked the domain name ukr.net. As a result, the Ukr.net news feed and @UKR.NET email became unavailable to Internet users, ” – says the message.
Ukrnet stated that it was not possible to resolve the issue through the registrar’s support service.
“We hope that with the start of the working day of the American registrar’s office, we will be able to obtain more information and find out the reasons and circumstances of the blocking,” the company said.
They also appealed for assistance to Ukraine’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the United States, Oksana Markarova.
“We regret that millions of Ukrainian users who read news every day on the Ukr.net portal and use the @ Ukr.net mail cannot do this now. We are doing everything possible to recover. Many responsive people help us in this” – emphasized in the company Ukr.net.
They assured that these difficulties are temporary and soon the @UKR.NET mail and the news feed on the UKR.NET portal will work again.
