It was an open secret that was finally confirmed just yesterday, Sony wants to bring its great exclusives to PC and the next triple A title we’ll see on said platform will be Spirit of Tsushima, a highly anticipated game whose minimum and recommended requirements have yet to be confirmed, although we have a pretty clear idea of what to expect in this regard.
The first thing we need to be clear about is that the Ghost of Tsushima version will be released on PC It will be the “Director’s Cut” that arrived on PS5, which means it includes all the graphical improvements over the PS4 version and all the extra content. A port of the PS4 version would have better hardware requirements, that’s clear, but also lower graphics quality.
Nixxes Software has confirmed that Ghost of Tsushima will be supporting NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3 and also Intel XeSS. It will be compatible with 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 screen formats as well as DualSense controls, although it can be played with a keyboard and mouse without any problems thanks to the various configuration and customization options it will offer in this sense.
With this configuration the game should work the quality drops to 30 FPS at 1080p resolution.
This configuration should be enough for gaming 1080p with high or maximum quality and maintaining 60 FPS.
We have to keep in mind that it will ultimately affect the optimization of the game, and considering the time that has passed since its launch, this should not be a problem. The SSD drive will be essential in terms of requirements, as happened with Sony’s latest major releases on PC. The game can work with HDD, but expect performance and user experience to not be good.
