AI File Explorer will reportedly appear in Windows 11 and serve as a selling point for upcoming Microsoft AI PCs. This advanced copilot follows every step on your Windows PC.
Microsoft will launch the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 on March 21, which the tech company calls the first true “AI PCs.” Microsoft still has to clarify the difference between AI PCs and normal PCs. A new report tells us more about the upcoming Windows 11 2024 update and its AI-based applications. According to Windows Central, AI File Explore would be the main selling point for AI PCs.
AI File Explorer is described as a more advanced copilot that brings search and timeline functionality to everything you do on your PC. The Windows computer remembers your every step and can communicate with you using natural language.
The new AI features are expected in the second half of the year, with the new Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 as early as April and June. According to Windows Central, AI File Explorer will be one of the key selling points of the new AI PCs, but these AI PCs will not yet come with the latest AI features. The new AI Explorer is said to not work on resistant hardware, but Microsoft has not yet clarified this.
