Telegram users who have personal accounts on Messenger will now be able to convert them to business accounts by paying a monthly subscription fee.
This was reported by The Tech Crunch, according to a report from Ukrinform.
It is said to give users the option to provide information such as location and opening hours, which could be useful for small cafe and store owners.
Other features of business accounts include organizing chats with colored tags, using automatic greetings and messages, and shortcuts for quick replies.
In addition, Telegram plans to roll out more business features this month, including a way to integrate AI-powered chatbots for customer service.
The chat application, which has more than 800 million users worldwide, also plans to launch its advertising platform, which includes a revenue sharing program for channels, this month.
As reported by Ukrinform, social network X is considering the possibility of stopping displaying the number of likes and reshares under user posts.
