The latest version of the Adobe Express app is now available in beta and offers multiple generative AI tools for creating content via a mobile app with Firefly AI integration.

Adobe has announced the launch of the latest beta version of the Adobe Express app. Firefly AI models are integrated into the Express app to help users create social content quickly and easily with the support of generative AI tools. This new version is an attempt to better compete with Canva, which introduced some AI tools last year.

New AI features

Adobe Express users get access to various Firefly AI tools in the latest version. Adobe points out that the features are interesting for small businesses that want to quickly and easily remove unwanted objects from photos, and for creative professionals who can use them to quickly and easily create social content.

  • Text to Image Generator: Quickly create a new look for your project by generating an image using Firefly’s generative AI.
  • Generative filling: Text prompts allow users to easily add, remove, or replace people or objects.
  • Text effects: Make your messages stand out by using different text styles.

Integration of social media platforms

The Adobe Express app also connects to social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, allowing users to view and publish content there. Additionally, it is possible to upload your brand’s colors and logos to speed up the design process.

Creative Cloud members can also access their creative assets from Photoshop and Illustrator using the Express app. Linked files can be synced so they update when you edit them in Creative Cloud apps.

For Android users, the new Adobe Express app is available in beta on the Google Play Store. iOS users must first log in to access it.
