Former US President Donald Trump (2017-2021) due this Friday bail of more than $91 million in order to appeal his sentence libel case against writer E. Jean Carroll.

The news comes after a New York judge on Thursday night rejected his request to temporarily block the sentence, which would require him to pay a fine. Carroll was fined $83.3 million for claiming in 2019 that he did not know her and that her sexual assault allegations against him were false.
