Fallout 5 is one of Bethesda’s most important and anticipated projects, and if you want me to be honest, it’s one of the games I’m most looking forward to out of all the triple-A games to come. Bethesda hasn’t said anything official about this title yet, although everything seems to point to it will arrive after The Elder Scrolls 6which means it’s still a few years away.

It’s going to be a long wait, but to liven things up a bit, we’ll have the Fallout series launching on Amazon Prime next April 11. This series also helps us get some clues about what could be the fifth installment of this long-awaited franchise (in general, not including spin-offs), although information is still very scarce, so be patient.

It was recently suggested that the Fallout series offered us a small glimpse of what this new installment of the franchise could be, but today we have information that points in the exact opposite direction. Den of Geek’s interview with Todd Howard confirms that the Bethesda executive producer specifically asked Jonathan Nolan, the showrunner of the series, not to do certain things because they will be done in Fallout 5.

That said, while this series may be a true representation of the spirit of the franchise, and in fact its latest trailer points in that direction, the truth is that it won’t feature the keys to Fallout 5. That left me wondering, admittedly, and leaves me with many questions to answer. I can’t answer now. It is the most important of all if Howard dares to really innovate with this new workintroducing new mechanics or even conceptualizing from scratch as a multiplayer title.

In general, I am more or less clear about what we can expect from this new work, at least in its base or hard coreIn fact, I have already shared with you a summary focused on Fallout 5 keys, including the graphics engine and its possible requirements, but beyond those basic pillars I dare not attempt any predictions. All in all, as a true fan of the franchise, I’ll be on the lookout for news that pops up to share with you.

I remind you that this new part of the famous Bethesda franchise will be exclusive to the current generation, and therefore It won’t be coming to PS4 or Xbox One. It can only be played on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5 and PC and can also work on Nintendo Switch 2 if the said console meets the minimum specifications.
