Earlier this week, Honor announced a rollout scheduled for March 18. While the main focus is expected to be the launch of new smartphones, the company also confirmed that the Honor Band 9 and the new Honor Watch will be introduced during the event.
The company announced the launch of wearable devices through the Honor Mall application. The teaser shows that the design of the Honor Band 9 will be similar to its predecessor. It has a rectangular dial that fits the strap. However, the company did not disclose many details about this.
However, the fitness tracker was recently certified by the Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group) certification body. The Band 9 is listed under model numbers RHE-B39 and RHE-B19, and the listing confirms the inclusion of Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity support.
Additionally, the Honor Band 9 was listed on the device pairing page of the Honor Sports and Health App with the description “trendy health bracelet”. Based on this, we can expect that the Honor Band 9 will likely focus on design elements and advanced health tracking capabilities.
Honor announced the launch of a new Honor Watch alongside the Honor Band 9 at the event on March 18. Specific details about both devices are still scant.
