Isaca supports the She@Cyber project. This initiative is part of the Erasmus+ program and is supported by the European Commission. It has a strategic objective: to reduce the shortage of cybersecurity professionals in Europe through training, in this case with a focus on women in particular and underrepresented groups in general.

“Our participation in the She@Cyber project is a testament to Isaca’s commitment to closing the gender gap and building a diverse cybersecurity workforce,” said Chris Dimitriadis, Chief Global Strategy Officer at Isaca. “By leveraging our expertise in education, training and certification, we aim to empower individuals – particularly women with non-technical backgrounds – to succeed in this important field.”

Experience

The project needs to provide sustainable training programs in different European countries, targeting employment in different sectors, using an online curriculum. Isaca makes his living through training and certification. The organization, made up mostly of volunteers, has a lot of experience in training people in IT-related fields.
