Equinix announces C-level and board changes. Current CEO, Charles Meyer, will assume the role of Executive Chairman within the data center company. This also means that current CEO Peter Van Camp will step down from this position. He remains involved in the specifics of Equinix from the background in an advisory capacity.

Applying for the CEO position will make little sense since Equinix also announced its new CEO in the press release. Her name is Adaire Fox-Martin, a woman with a lot of experience in the technology world. She previously worked at SAP and Oracle, among others.
