American billionaire Elon Musk visited the Tesla automobile production facility near Berlin and chatted with the workers.
Ukrinform’s own correspondent reported that the visit was short-lived.
The press was not allowed to enter the area and even loud music was played in the tent where the meeting was held so that those outside could not hear what was said.
Last Tuesday, on March 5, unidentified assailants set fire to a power pole at the Tesla factory in Grünheide, causing a power outage and halting production for several days. Left radicals claimed responsibility for the arson.
Work resumed on Wednesday, March 13. Apparently Tesla’s founder wanted to make sure everything was okay.
At the same time, eco-activists continue to protest near the facility. They are trying to prevent factory expansion and deforestation.
As reported, Tesla near Berlin is the only factory in Europe dedicated to the production of these electric cars.
