“The Kyiv Digital team is constantly improving the operation of the application and listening to 2.7 million users. The message stated that, in line with their wishes, a funicular was added to the “Traffic Movement” section in Cifovoy.

It is stated that users will now see the funicular station on the map and learn the timetable and fee.

“We are constantly trying to improve our service and add new functions so that the use of the application becomes intuitive for everyone, regardless of age,” said Viktoriya Itkovich, director of the Department of Information and Communications Technologies.

In the update, the “Kyiv Digital” team also added a map of metro station exits and information about the availability of elevators for groups of people with reduced mobility.

Currently this information is available for the following metro stations: “Holosiivska”, “Vasylkivska”, “Exhibition Center”, “Ipodrom”, “Teremky”, “Chervony Khutir” and “Svyatoshin”.

KMDA Information and Communication Technologies Department noted that during the three years the application was published, 160,000 users forwarded their suggestions for improvement and innovation to the city’s support service.

“Moving from these requests, the experts of the “Kiev Digital” application have introduced the possibility of viewing the transport route and schedule online and contactless payment of fares on all types of municipal transport. We have also introduced the English version of the application, replacing paper tickets with electronic tickets.” he added.

The new version of “Kyiv Digital” can already be downloaded for free on IOS and Android smartphones.
