Death toll in Gaza rises to 31,553The total number of people injured after 24 hours of intense Israeli attacks was 73,546, the Health Ministry said.

“The Israeli occupation carried out seven massacres of families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in 63 martyrs and 112 wounded in the last 24 hours,” the ministry said in a statement.

Early this morning, the Gaza government reported at least 36 civilians killed and dozens wounded in Israeli bombings of the Tabatibi family home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

In the same area, a second Israeli air attack on another house killed at least seven more Palestinians, mostly women and minors, medical sources said.

Similarly, an Israeli explosion near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City killed other civilians, mostly women and children.

The attack targeted a seven-story apartment building “that housed displaced people,” the Palestinian news agency said. Vafa, which added that another airstrike was carried out on a house on Al-Jalaa Street.

In the same time, Wafa reported “intense air attacks” on the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun and bombings in the south of a residential building in Rafah, an area under threat of ground invasion where more than 1.4 million displaced people are sheltering.

After more than five months of Israeli attacks on Gaza, 85% of the population was forced to flee their homes.

Likewise, 60% of the sector’s infrastructure is damaged or destroyed, according to UN estimates, children are malnourished and medical services are virtually paralyzed due to Israeli attacks. (EFE)
