According to UZ, the share of online tickets in the company’s sales structure has already reached 89 percent, while the share of the mobile application increased from 25 percent to 38 percent during the year.
According to Yevhen Lyashchenko, chairman of the board of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, digitalization of services remains one of the strategic vectors of railway development. Many digital updates are planned for this year in terms of loyalty program, accessibility and international sales.
The carrier also notes that the “Iron Friends” loyalty program, which allows you to accumulate “hugs” for each kilometer of the train journey and exchange them for bonuses from partners, works only in the application.
