Uruguayan nationalized Mexican goalkeeper Sebastian Sosa, Paraguayan midfielder Jose Ignacio Florentin, Argentine Brian Cufre (defense) and 21-year-old striker Abiel Osorio have been named.
According to the complaint, the crime was supposed to have been committed on March 3 in San Miguel de Tucuman.
The victim has been identified as a 24-year-old woman. She reports that football players bullied her at a hotel where she went on a date with Uruguayan goalkeeper Sebastian Sosa.
The players will be “deprived of their liberty” until another hearing is held to determine whether they will be placed in preventive detention.
