Intelligent AI can analyze or summarize your files with one click. Copilot’s integration into File Explorer makes the chatbot omnipresent in Windows 11.
Microsoft is fully committed to AI and Copilot and is integrating the service into many components, including Microsoft 365 and Windows 11. To make the chatbot even more in your face, Microsoft is working on a Copilot assistant directly in Explorer, according to Windows Latest. They confirm what was already reported by a Windows expert about X in January.
There’s no official news on this yet, but according to internal sources, Copilot can be activated by right-clicking on a file. In the example above, you have the option to provide a summary or upload something to Copilot for analysis.
Just last week, Microsoft launched a version of Copilot for security teams. Under the name Copilot for Security, AI can support IT teams from April 1, 2024. Unlike other Copilot versions that are free or require a fixed amount per month, here you pay per hour.
