According to the report, the doors of the new store were opened personally by Apple CEO Tim Cook, who met the first visitors.
The eighth Apple store in Shanghai, a city of nearly 27 million people, is located in the metropolis’ central business district and is the company’s second largest retail store in the world after Dubai.
The flagship Apple Store in China has more than 150 employees who can communicate with customers in English, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish and Malay, as well as Chinese in 25 dialects.
Management of Apple’s China branch emphasized that the company values Chinese consumers, adding that Apple’s retail stores in China are among the busiest in the world.
As reported by Ukrinform, South Korean company Samsung introduced two new 5G smartphones on March 11: Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G.
