The Yunhai-2 02 spacecraft was launched into Earth orbit by a Long March-2D launch vehicle launched from the Jiuquan Cosmodrome in northwestern China’s Gansu Province at 13:27 local time (19:27 Kiev).
The number of new satellites is not reported, but it is stated that they will be used to monitor the state of the atmosphere and environment, prevent and reduce the number of disasters, and conduct scientific experiments.
Today’s launch was the 513th mission of the Long March launch vehicle series.
