He ASUS ROG NUC aims to be the star model that the Taiwanese company intends to launch to keep alive the legacy of NUC computers that passed into its hands after the deal with Intel. It’s a 2.5-liter device that will pack the latest generation Intel processors and dedicated NVIDIA graphics to match, so it’s expected that the prices won’t be exactly low.

If there are no surprises, two ASUS ROG NUC models will be available: RNUC14SRKU7168A0I with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics cardand RNUC14SRKU9189A0I, which will implement a Intel Core Ultra 9 185H and RTX 4070. The former can be considered a mid-range device, while the latter is closer to the high-range if it isn’t. The rest of the characteristics, since both models will use the same chassis with dimensions of 270 x 180 x 50 millimeters, will be the same.

When it comes to memory, ASUS ROG NUC officially supports it up to 32 GB of RAM via two DDR5 slots and has three M.2 2280 slots with PCIe Gen4x4 support, while external connections will be two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, a 3.5mm jack connector for audio input and output, and an SD card reader on the front. On the back, the user will find a Thunderbolt 4 port, two USB 3.2 Type-A, two USB 2.0 Type-A, one HDMI, two DisplayPort 1.4a ports, a 2.5Gbps Ethernet connection and a power connector.



When it comes to wireless connectivity, many computers will have a module Intel Killer AX1690i which provides Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The power adapter will have 330 watts and the sound chip Realtek ALC256.
