Four men accused of shooting dozens of people at a concert near Moscow on Friday night have appeared in court.
The official Telegram channel of the Moscow courts reported that the men will remain in custody until May 22. According to Russian authorities, three of the four men pleaded guilty to all charges.
Russian media identify the men as citizens of the former Soviet republic of Tajikistan living in Russia.
Brutal and unverified videos of interrogations of suspects have circulated on social media.
Courtroom footage released by Russian media showed one suspect being taken away in a wheelchair and apparently missing an eye. Another had a bandage over his right ear, another had a black eye and a torn plastic bag around his neck.
The fourth suspect, who had a swollen face, appeared disoriented and was struggling to keep his eyes open.
Unverified footage published on Russian Telegram channels shows one of the suspects being tortured with electric shocks while in custody. Reuters was unable to verify its authenticity. (Reuters).
